My husband and I stayed at this hotel for a Gator football game one weekend. 7 days later, we have bug bites all over us! There were BED BUGS in the bed in the room!!!!!!!!!!! WE WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN!

My family and I made the mistake of staying here during a recent trip to Florida. This hotel has been ridden hard and put away wet. First room was disgusting...dirt everywhere, dried beer on the furniture, bugs, the whole nine yards. Staff agreed to let us move to another room that was marginally acceptable. Bottom line is: This is a college hotel that is in awful upkeep...stay somewhere further down the road.

The first room we were assigned had a leaking pipe under the bathroom sink. A waste basket was placed under it and had overflowed. The carpet was wet, moldy, and room stunk. Unbelieveable it was left this way, and the desk clerk said he didn't know it was unusable. The next room we got had a musty smell and mold inside the coffeemaker. The carpeting was well worn. The shower and toilet room was reasonably clean. This is an old, beat-up motel. I'm sure it has seen much wear and tear. Since it is close to the U of Florida and right next to I-75, it probably makes money charging high rates during U events, and renting to price conscious transients and temporary workers in the area otherwise. The complimentary breakfast had minimal offerings with just some tables and chairs in the front of the building, which doubled as a storage area. If all you need is a cheap bed for the night, that's what you'll get.

This Inn is very dirty and unkempt. Fixtures are falling off walls, carpets are wet and dirt can be seen along every wall and corner. ant piles can be found behind doors.Beds are uncomfortable and squeaky. Linens including towels are stained and of poor quality. Security is nonexistent. Doors barely lock, deadbolts don't work. Awoke with bedbugs crawling on body! Don't waste your stay here!

This hotel was booked as a last resort and should be. The rooms were dirty, smelled of smoke even though they said it was a non-smoking room, the beds were VERY uncomfortable. Do not say here
