That is the ugliest, nastiest and dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in. It is a shame because the location is great, and the construction of the hotel is not bad but if only they took some few extra minutes of cleaning the hotel would be very good. The A/c was not cold enough, the batteries of the key reader at the door were dying( I guess) because it took more than two minutes to open the door every time we were trying to get into our room. there was a big white stain in one of the bed covers that I dont even wanna know what it was, and the bathroom was smelly and dirty. The grout on the tile was black and dirty, there were hairs in the tub and the floor. The bathroom was so dirty that we even thought about not showering because it was really bad, but we ended up placing towels in the floor and inside of the tub to not have contact with the floor. I know that phrase that says that you get what you pay for, and the hotel was very cheap, but for maybe 10 dollars more I bet you can get a 200% better and cleaner hotel in the area.

I had stayed at this hotel about 3 years ago and it was o.k. for the price I paid. Booked 2 rooms this year for this hotel and I couldn't check out fast enough. There was blood and hair all over the bathroom in one room and then in the second room there were pills laying everywhere. If not bad enough, there were 2 other couples checking out as soon as they checked out their rooms, because of simlar experiences in their rooms. All the front desk worker had to say, was "it's not my problem, if you want your money back call whoever you booked with" Which it was travel online and they did help me with the refund process.

Our ac was not working properly. David from maintenance was excellent and got a unit that did in fact work. The rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly. Overall, I would advise everyone to spend the extra money and stay at the Holiday Inn or the Wingate Hotel around the corner.

My husband and myself should have listened to the reviews of customers who provided feedback regarding this hotel before we went to Orlando because it was awful. First, it was more like a motel with the tv being broken when we first arrived. The bathtub never really looked clean and was very slippery, nearly causing me to severely injure myself several times. Moreover, I personally felt so unsafe that I had my husband put a chair by the door every night. The hotel claims to be within walking distance to Universal Orlando, however, when we attempted the supposed brief walk, it was at least a mile (one way). Some may think this isn't bad, but you have to consider the oppressive heat of Orlando in late summer in order to fully understand why a misrepresentation of the distance of the walk caused us great frustration. Furthermore, the website for the hotel claims to be located near several restaurants...not true. The only restaurant nearby was TGI Fridays, and technically it is about 2 blocks away. The only really close restaurant is an on-site Indian restaurant; which is fine if you like that cuisine. Basically, if you haven't gotten the point, stay at another hotel if you want to get a good night sleep in between park visits and feel safe and take care of.
