This is the worst Hilton property I have stayed at to date. Shame on them for using their name to lure loyal customers to this hotel. The hotel is filthy, not just dirty. I was afraid to use the telephone, for it had never been cleaned. The light fixtures were black. The light switches had an inch of dirt on them. Stay away, stay away.

This is a dated Embassy Suites in need of refurbishing. Some of the rooms a noisy and smell of cigarette smoke. The wireless internet did not work for me and the hotel does not provide wireless bridges because their guests stole all they had. The staff is friendly but I recommend the 2 Marriott hotels less than a mile away or perhaps the Hampton Inn also nearby. This was not a good place for the business traveler.

This is definately NOT Embassy standards. The hotel ldecor ooked rough and is in need of some serious renovation. The bathroom is the smallest I have had in Embassy. There was a constant smell of chlorine from the pool. The hotel did not have the HHonors (Diamond) freebies ready or the special room rate gift - I had to ask for these to be supplied. The staff seemed clueless. The Mangers reception was poor quality, and I actually saw the bartender serving alcohol (saw them mix the drinks) to children. The breakfast was the worst I have ever had in an Embassy. Positives: try the Longhorn Steakhouse near the hotel - steak melted in your mouth it was so tender.

The Good: The staff was great. The lobby/atrium area was clean and beautiful. The breakfast buffet was huge (get there early or you'll have to stand in line). The hotel is about 10 minutes from anything and everything you might want to do in CC; great location, seemed to be a pretty safe area. Good value for a family. The Bad: I went ahead and booked a smoking room, even though my husband and I would be smoking outside. I could smell the room before I entered it: it reeked. Within a few minutes I felt sick and dirty. I couldn't let my kids stay in that, so I went down the street to the store and picked up some cleaners, air fresheners, and a fan. By evening, the room was tolerable, although all of our feet were black from walking on the carpet. The pool area was revolting. The heater on the pool was broken during our entire stay (none of the children seemed to care). Rather than clean the pool regularly, they had just been shocking the water. It burned. There was a green, sticky scum around the rim of the hot tub. Unfortunately, you don't notice it until you're already in. Super-gross. Overall, family friendly (call ahead and make sure the pool will be cleaned and functional for your stay), convenient to area attractions and a good value. The good (for us) outweighed the bad. We would stay here again.
