Good and Bad
07/14/2009Nice customer service and breakfast. could be a lot cleaner than it was. rooms, stairwells, pool area could be cleaned a little bit more.

After staying at ths location for a long weekend I refuse to ever stay at another Howard Johnson. It has left me with the inpression that Howard Johnsons are no longer as good as they use to be. When we walked in our room it had a very old and musty smell to it. After taking off our shoes we realized that the carpet felt dirty as well as the bathroom floor. At that point I was very upset with my choice in hotels. I called and asked for these things to be corrected and when we returned to the room you could tell that they did vaccum and mop the floor, but it just didn't help at all. Point blank the carpets were just dirty and in need of a serious shampooing and the bathroom floors were the same. They probably just run a wet mop over the floor and call it clean. The corners of the floors have built up paint chips from the paiint coming off the wall. To top it off, when I got home I realized that they charged my credit card after I paid for our room in advance for our stay. When I looked at the invoice that said $00.00 balance they had me under an incorrect address and phone number. There is to many hotels on this popular strip for the service to reflect like this. Please take a little extra time to go further. When I pulled away from that hotel I should have been thru dealing with them. I was dealing with them for an extra week.

HAD A GREAT TIME AT YOUR MOTEL AND WOULD ADVISE ANYONE THAT WANT TO SEE ALOT AND BE AROUND ALOT OF DIFFERENT FOOD CHOICES TO STAY HERE. ONLY MINUTES FROM ALL MAJOR ATTRACTION. GREAT LOCATION TO STAY.
