1. No Fox News available. Not acceptable for this traveller. 2. Room Cleaning Service not the best. Many times upon my return towels were "later brought to my room". 3. Vending Services: Each time I went the vending machines were "out-of-order". 4. I never had a HOT cup of coffee from the lobey coffee center.

I have stayed here for the past 3 summers during my annual visit to St. Petersburg. The front desk staff has always been very courteous and efficient. On my most recent visit, when I decided to extend my stay, they matched the same price I had been getting on Travel website, without me even having to ask! The rooms are comfortable and clean. The only 2 things that bothered me, were the maid service forgot to replenish my coffee station, and they did not provide a Do Not Disturb sign for me, which resulted in the maid service knocking on my door at inconvenient times.

It was nice and peaceful but clearwater wasn't what I thought it would be. It was a poverty stricken city and the hotel was not lit well at night and was in a bad location. Be on the look out if you order any movies in the rooms, It said $13.99 when I ordered it and when I checked out....It was almost $20!!! Then the woman had no pennies in the drawer so she decided to short my change rather than get the 4 cents. Next time I go down there I will stay on the beach side of the intercoastal. It was much nicer there. Hope this helps.

I thoroughly enjoyed my 5-night stay during early August 2008. The continental breakfast was a lot more than I expected. I felt very comfortable. The mini-fridge helped, too! I am looking forward to another stay with them at Christmastime. BB from Chicago.
