I have stayed here many times on both business and pleasure in Atlanta. The rooms (all suites) are inviting, spacious, comfortable and impeccably kept. (Try to get something on a high floor on the front of the inn. The front staff are hit and miss: they can be charming and Southernly-hospitable or attitudinal and condescending. I use the hotel self-park and leave my car there until departure. Use good judgement, and you generally will be safe on foot, but taxis are on a very affordable flat-rate basis within the area. Midtown is filled with excellent dining and nightlife choices.

The front desk staff - and lobby staff were very friendly and helpful! I only wish the same could be said of the staff of the on-site restaurant. I had breakfast there two days in a row and the staff was not very friendly. I felt my presence was burden. The service was slow, akward and uncomfortable. The buffet was very disappointing!!! I have stayed at several Marriotts around the country and have had great buffet breakfasts. This by far was the worst one. Poor selection and low quality. No spoons for the brown sugar or raisnins for oatmeal. I did not feel that I got my moneys worth! The room was clean and pleasant - though there were constant slamming do doors all hours of day and night - as an associate lounge was across the hall and they slammed the doors every time they went in or came out.

pros: King size bed was one of the best I have ever slept in. Staff was very friendly and helpful. cons: Valet parking was $22.00 + tip per day, try your best to park away if you don't mind the walk. No Wi-Fi or Free Net... 14.95 per day to use a LAN line. Bathrooms need to be remodeled.

Check-in staff went out of their way to accommodate my requests and inquiries. Room service breakfasts were excellent. Location is perfect if your visit is going to be centered in Midtown. One negative is the charge for wireless access. Seems a little petty nowadays.
