This is a great hotel for large families. We stayed 7 in a room, and the 2 bedroom suite was more than spacious. We paid $* a night which was a lot cheaper than two rooms. The breakfast was great, with eggs, meats, waffles, etc. The pool was big enough to cool down. The location was five minutes from universal, and on the 'drive'. We couldn't check in until 4pm and we had trouble getting washclothes, but overall were very satisfied.

Don't let the pictures fool you, this hotel needs work. The rooms are very dated, and just plain dirty. The bedspread was filthy and the furniture had tears and was dirty. The sofa mattress was also torn and dirty. The regular mattress was just terrible. We were supposed to stay 2 nights but we were too disgusted and left after 1 night.

I absolutly loved this hotel. Being that I live in South Florida, I am used to seeing the South Beach hotels that are 'Art Deco' which means old and colorful. This hotel was great, in fact we are booked to go again in June.The staff is great, the breakfast is more that I thought it would be, and best of all the other guests must have been enjoying themselves as muxh as we were be cause they were so friendly.
