BIG DISAPPOINMENT

THE WORKERS WERE RUDE. BATHROOM WERE FILTHY HAD HAIR IN THE SHOWER, OPEN SOAP, MOLD ON THE WALLS, DIRTY TOWELS, CRACKS ON THE WALL..WHAT UPSET US THE MOST WAS THE SHEETS WERE NOT SANITIZED WHICH GAVE US A RASH AND WE COMPLAINED TO THE RECEPTIONIST AND THEY DIDNT HELP US. PRETTY MUCH THEY DIDNT CARE ABOUT SATISFYING THE CUSTOMER. WE PACKED UP AND LEFT ASAP. THEY DIDNT GIVE US OUR MONEY BACK OR ANYTHING. DO NOT STAY AT THIS CHEAP HOTEL AND PLUS THIS HOTEL WAS SO FAR FROM ALL OF THE ATTRACTIONS. THIS HOTEL IS NOT LOCATED ON SOUTH BEACH ITS ON NORTH BEACH. PLUS THERE WERE NO ELEVATOR SO WE HAD TO CARRY OUR LUGGAGE UP TO THE 3RD FLOOR. ALSO IT WAS VERY CREEPY, WORDS CANT EEN EXPLAIN IT..VERY DISAPPOINTED IT RUINED OUR FIRST DAY IN MIAMI.

TV - ask for a remote from the front desk. Dont expect the stations to come in too clearly. Continental breakfast - dont expect much beyond coffee and a simple pastry. Location - across from the beach is beautiful. Neighborhood not great at night. Clean enough but a cockroach was spotted and the cleaning smell clearly covered up something. Slight renovations might be nice. Overall good buy for the money.

We booked this hotel in 2005.The ocean is a 2 mins walk from the hotel.The rooms are decent size and good for their price.The bar in the hotel next door is good for an evening drink.Its close to a lot of eating places and we really enjoyed our stay here. We are a couple who enjoy the vacation more than a hotel so this was a safe, clean and close to the beach hotel for us.

This place is so run down, they definately need to update the hotel. The only good thing about the hotel was the fact that it was beachfront and the fact that we were so close to South Beach. Other than that...it was nothing to smile about. There were stray cats everywhere, and a few bums on the street side, and I swear I saw a rat in the back alley that they called a ""view""!
