The front desk staff obviously hears alot of complaints, because they treat them with VERY little respect and could really care less. My 4am wake up call did not happen, luckily the alarm was set, but the girl at the front desk tried to pass the buck onto someone else, then got an attitude with me when I was upset. The hotel is not next to ANYTHING, no stores, food, gas, you have to take the bus, or a cab to get to anything of you don't have a car. We were there for a convention and the excellent front desk staff told me we were one mile away. We were 70 blocks away!! Internet does NOT work in the room. The lobby is full of people online cause the signal doesnt get past the lobby. Breakfast buffet is weak. Slimy egg product and frozen pancakes. This was just not a pleasurable experience. From irritated staff, horrible location, tile floors, broken vending machines, overpriced everything, oh and the shower is ridiculous. If a toilet is flushed anywhere in the hotel, your shower goes to scorching hot! So you pretty much can't shower in the morning, cause it takes an hour to get a shower finished since you have to keep running away from boiling inferno. It is seriously worth spending a few bucks going somewhere else. We got stuck here since we booked our hotel late for the convention and there was nothing else undera night. I called the front desk to ask how close they were to the conventiopn center and they told me one mile. So I booked it. Thought, ti cant be that bad

I spent hours searching for a hotel and had to pick this one based on lack of options for booking late.. There were a few, more expensive options, but since it was a biz trip I had to stay at a number. So I booked this hotel after calling the FRONT DESK and asking about its proximity to the convention center. I was told it was 1 MILE away. Also, our room came with 2 breakfast buffets. I quickly booked it since I figured it would just have to do and I had already spent enough time searching. . We arrived and were instantly disappointed.. It just looks old from the outside, not a good sign. Checked in, got upstairs and were greeted with loud, hard tile floors.. which I knew about, but still didnt like. the internet does NOT work in the rooms. Which they tell you it does. The whole place just has a feel that it is waaay past its prime. There is not even a convenience store around for miles. Please believe me when i say there is NOTHING within a mile or two of this place. besides other hotels and houses.. You have to take the bus or drive to go or get anything. Tuesday morning when we had to get to the convention center, we hopped in a cab thinking it would be a quick mile drive and a cheap ride.. Our cab driver laughed at us and explained that it was 70 blocks!!! NOT a mile like we were told and aided in my decision to stay there. So $20 later we got there.

HOTEL WAS OK. WHAT WAS NOT MENTIONED ARE CHAIRS ARE ONLY AVAILABLE TILL ABOUT 5:00. AFTER THAT YOU DON'T GET THEM BUT YOU STILL HAVE TO PAY THE DAILY FEE. ALSO WHEN I WAS THERE THE SHUTTLE DID NOT RUN HAD TO TAKE BUS BUT ONCE AGAIN WAS STILL CHARGED DAILY FEE.

There is no work out room as was advertised, I'm bummed about that. I was bothered by security for my TV's ""noise"" when it wasn't even loud. The hot tub was nice, but the breakfast was not. I paid cash for the extra fee's and was asked to pay them again. I did not ! Overall this hotel is so-so!
