I reserved a suite with a credit card a month in advance. When I checked in, the Desk Clerk assigned me the worst room in the place (Rm. 104). The manager said that someone checked into the suite, and did not check out. That was my tought luck.

The first time we stayed, we came in really late from a long trip. When we woke up in the a.m., we noticed dirty towels in our bathroom, the lights didn't work, the smoke alarm kept beeping loudly during the night and it was dirty. They gave us a free night so on our way back through we decided to try again. We received the first room and it hadn't been cleaned at all. The beds were a mess and the room was dirty. So, we went back and they gave us another room. The next room was not cleaned either. There was a tissue on the floor and another bed unmade. We left because we figured 3 times with this is not a mistake. We will never stay there again.

For $**, we found there was a shortage of clean towels, breakfast utensils, breakfast pancake mix empty, & juice dispenser broken "no pitcher nearby" The pool was milky, the bottom littered with debris. & the gate locked an hour and a half past opening time. The staff on duty didn't answer the phone & no wonder! When I went down to talk to them in person because I couldn't reach them by phone, I found 1 employee behind the counter trying to wear 4 different hats. It's not the hotel staff that soured our experience, it was the poor quality caused by staff shortage. Fortunately, our room was clean, the staff was very friendly (it's not their fault they're overworked! but we were really disappointed. This was after A Long drive...why go to a breakfast if there's barely anything to eat?

After reading some previous reviews, I was honestly quite nervous about staying at this hotel. But it was the best location/price that I could find, especially since it was an emergency trip on a small budget, so I booked it and crossed my fingers. I was pleasantly surprised! Maybe it has been recently updated, I don't know, but I found the room and the rest of the hotel fresh and clean. I was traveling alone with my 4 children, and felt very safe at this location as well. I would certainly stay here again!

I liked the hotel for the most part... except it smelled smoky but the problem that I had was that I booked through online travel website . Upon check in they asked for my credit card and CHARGED ME FOR THE ROOM - again! When I checked my online banking and called the hotel, they told me well look at what we charged you ... you would have saved booking direct- NOT WHAT I WANTED TO HEAR. I have now called twice and I am still trying to get my money back. DONT GIVE THEM YOUR CARD!
