    We stayed at the peppermill hotel. great hotel, great place. only problem is that they charge an additional $* per day when you leave for a resort fee. totally unexpected.

    This was my first time back to the Peppermill since the remodel. It's a beautiful property, it could be more beautiful with a little minor tweaks. The uniforms should have been upgraded for the casino workers. Those blouses are awful! The lighting when you first walk in is still tacky, it does not go with the theme. I stayed in the Montego Bay Wing. I was not happy about having to walk outside of the hotel to get to the wing. I did not feel so secure. Had I known this, I would have booked for a room inside the main property. Another minus is there are no beverage vending machines for water inside the wing. The mini bar will never be an option! I was feaful of even touching the mini bar, It was very Mission Impossible with the automatic billing sensors! I was extremely happy with the hospitality. My room was clean. I requested extra pillows and a blanket and it was sent within 10 minutes! However, the bed, not so comfortable. The ballroom was fabulous, comfortable seating and beautiful remodel. The restaurants, were great! Biscotti's, The Coffee Shop, Sports Deli and Smokehouse all excellent! To die for gelato, more than worth the price, good portions. The service at all establishments was good, the prices even better! My stay was very short, but enjoyable.

    Have stayed at this hotel sometimes twice a year for the past several years, quality of room and front desk service has deteriotated. The hotel has remodeled the rooms, but I always get an old room usually with a tv that I have to keep hitting to keep it going, this time was an exception, I did get a new tv, but was put in a room with a view of a concrete wall, I was spending 7 nights, I feel that the least they could have done was put me in a room with a view. My flight from Portland, Maine was delayed in San Francisco , phone calls were made to the hotel, they assured that my room would be available no matter what time I would arrive. United Airlines couldn't put me on another flight until 7:00 P.M. the following night, 12 other passengers and myself boarded two vans for the drive to Reno, when I arrived at a little after 8:00 A.M. I was told my room was not available and to come back later in the day, I was very tired as I had started out the day before at 2: A.M. My mother phoned the hotel manager and was told a refund for the room I did not use wasn't possible, but I could have a free meal at the hotel, but I never received anything. I inquired the day before checkout to pay my resort fee ahead of time as I was taking an early flight and wanted my cash deposit back, the answer was no, we'll send you your money in the mail. There is absolutely no regard to the guest's comfort or welcome from the front desk, next trip to Reno will be to Las Vegas.

    Enjoyed my stay but need to upgrade from Montego Wing to a newer room. I give it a great review and staff was great. The location to the airport and other activities outside the hotel is central and easy to get around. My staty was comfortable and uneventful. Wish it didn't rain the one and only time I went to the pool. Two warm pools.

    Front desk was great; very efficient and friendly when we arrived. Our room was beautiful and clean. We were also provided with a roll-a-way when another person joined our party. Room service was very prompt and it was great to wake up to a real cup of coffee each morning. Coffee shop food was great - good variety to choose from and food was well presented and very very good. I would stay at the Peppermill again.
