Reno is no LV so keep your expectations low. You get what you pay for so for the price it was decent. Plus: -Room was a decent size -Good size sport booking area (need to go digital though) -Connects to two other casinos -Casino floor was a good size with plenty of tables Minus: Bathrooms were outdated Room carpets looked a little shabby (wear sandals or slippers at all times) Cafe food should be avoided (didn't try the steakhouse) Bars are a little shabby Place is usually dead (went during 10.31 so it was a little more festive)

First of all, the hotel is not at all friendly to disabled and senior citizens. Not very wheelchair accessible and does not have enough wheelchairs. The wheelchairs they have are mostly broken and in bad condition. Secondly, The Pool and hot tub are terrible. I have seen better in roadside motels.. Room does not even have a coffee maker, you have to go downstairs and wait for 20 minutes to get a cup of coffee

I would stay again for the same price - roughly $ a night. If you're traveling to Nevada strictly to gamble this works fine. It also works well as a starting point for visiting the Tahoe area. But for more things to do at night and more excitement, Las Vegas is much better.

Both times I've gone to Reno to drop/pick-up my daughter at the university. This is a fine place to stay for that purpose. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the showers work well, there are plenty of towels etc. We've eaten both times at the seafood restaurant which I can highly recommend. I like having the room card check before going up to my tower room, though it is a cursory glance. My only objection is the $3/day resort fee which covers the spa, pool and other services in the hotel which I don't use. When I have had an occassion to use the valet, I tip them directly. I'd rather they add the fee directly to the price of the room instead of giving the feeling of being ""nickeled and dimed.'
