We weren't looking for much luxury, just a clean decent place to sleep...and we got a little more than that. It was pretty nice, very clean. How much do you really plan to hang out in your room in Atlantic City? The view was of a semi-abandoned building. The pool seemed nice. Only 2 blocks from the Boardwalk, but holy cow you'll want to RUN home (or take a short cab ride). I'd stay again if in Atlantic City. The staff was friendly and helpful."

Overall the Howard Johnson was a good deal. The only downfall was it isn't the best location. I highly recommend not taking Tennessee to the casinos, but instead take Pacific. The neighborhood on Tennessee is scary even in daylight hours, but Pacific wasn't too bad. The shower curtain is clingy so you are constantly pushing it off you while you shower. Other than that the room was nice. I would stay there again.
