  This is a nice place to stay. Has outside enterances so you can pull right up to your room and unload your stuff without having to drag it miles. The rooms are bit small so we moved to a suite and these are perfect for families. We could put our kids to bed and still watch TV and visit. The views from the back are great. The people here will do anything for you and are really friendly. It is also very clean. We have stayed in the summer and the winter and it is expensive in the summer. We compared all others and this was the best value.

  This place is a good hotel. It is only located 1 mile from the Historic Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad; a must do if you are in the area. The pool and spa are at separate ends of the property. The continental breakfast has a pretty good selection. Suite rooms can easily sleep up to 6 people.

  What a disappointment! room was tiny and cramped. price was exorbitant for the quality. room smelled bad and was not cleaned during our stay. toilet would not flush well so ...

  What a disappointment! room was tiny and cramped. Price was exorbitant for the quality. Room smelled bad and was not cleaned during our stay. Toilet would not flush well so we called the front desk who informed us that we could come down and get a plunger! Don't waste your money here!

  I guess I would have to start out by saying if the pool is not indoors, consider it closed if it is not July or August. The continental breakfast was boxed donuts, toast or cereal. The room was very clean and the people were nice. There is a fridge in the room so consider going to Albertsons and getting groceries instead of eating out for every meal.
