why would anyone ever stay here more then once. this is the worst place i have ever stayed and i have traveled in 3rd world countries. the mangement was so rude to everyone staying in the hotel like it was a palace instead of run down, smelly, motel. i would have rather splept outside then in our smelly, moldy room. the pool water was a shade of green and the bathrooms were gross.

I disagree with the harsh reviews of this hotel, and found it to be just as I expected from a 3-star hotel. The room was spacious and clean. It was a little worn around the edges, but this is not the Four Seasons. The location is great, just minutes from the Killington base. And the night we were there the lounge had live music, a local singer-songwriter who played a nice set. We enjoyed the free breakfast, which was much better than a typical limited-service hotel breakfast buffet. We will definitely stay here again.

The proprietor of this establishment tried to charge us for every little item. She also asked people where they were going when they were in the hall. It was as if she was keeping tabs on us.
For the "included breakfast" we received a triple shot glass sized orange juice and had to wait forever for lackluster pancakes which didn't even come with any sides.
Our room was represented as a suite with two queen beds and a pull out couch but was nothing more than a small hotel room with two hard full beds. The room also had a distinctly pungent odor and there was a mustard looking stain on the rug. The foulness of the room was only surpassed by the dinginess of the 1970's era pool. The decor was comprised of old puzzles which the proprietor had glued together and framed. -

03/02/2007Lots of hidden charges. dirty, smelly rooms with holes in walls. rude front desk staff. very uncomfortable place to stay.
