  I booked this hotel last-minute and got a great deal. The hotel is clean, the room was excellent, the bedding superb, and the staff went above & beyond to be helpful. I've already booked my next stay in Birmingham at this property, and am already looking here for my trip after that!

  This property is a little hard to find if you are not familiar with Birmingham. It is right off of the interstate, but there is no signage visable from the road. However, it is worth the search. The room was spotless, and the kitchen fully equiped, down to the paper towels - real plates, spoons, glasses and so on. I chose it primarily because in addition to it being the midpoint on my trip, it is totally pet friendly (all the Candlewoods are - a real plus.) The staff is extremely friendly. The grounds are well maintained, and very pretty. There is not a pool, which wasn't a factor for me, but might be for a family traveling with children, but the high-speed internet was excellent, and there is a nicely appointed fitness center. Overall, a great value for the money.

  Don't be fooled by 2 star rating. based on cleanliness this is a far better hotel. high speed internet. nice little kitchen w/ hardwood floor as a nice touch. ...

  Don't be fooled by 2 star rating. Based on cleanliness this is a far better hotel. High speed internet. Nice little kitchen w/ hardwood floor as a nice touch. Maid service only once a week, so if you're into that kind of crap, you might find a conventional hotel.
