The motel itself is clean; bed is comfortable though the furnishings are spartan. The bath was small and the shower head was at shoulder height and I am only 5'10". The motel per se is acceptable if all one needs is a place to lay one's head, but it is NOT a place to expect to get a good night's sleep unless you are hard of hearing - because of the trains. The motel is close to the train tracks and there were at least 3 or 4 trains passing through during the night; the vibration of their passing could be felt in the room. The train whistles were louder than my alarm clock, with similar effect. End result: a very poor nights sleep. This probably accounts for the lower room rates compared to other local facilitites I'll stay somewhere else next time I'm in the area, the additional cost will be offset by a quieter night. It's too bad as itts a nice place done under by its proximity to the tracks.
