We had a wonderful motel stay and we sure loved the swimming pool. But, the restaurant had some young man take our order for two days in a row in the evening and we had terrible sevice placing our order and receiving the call to our room when our order was ready. The first night we were there I ordered two items and he rang up our ordr than I decided to order a third item and he had this look on his face like I was taking up his time and he was a littl frustrated with me. Than he took off right away to go vacuum. Second night I waited at the front desk to order but, he just walked off from me to go clean a table. Two caucasian people walked in and waited to be seated and he had no problem serving them while I was standing waiting to order before those two people walked in. After they were seated I just left the counter and went back to my room to talk to a manager on the phone and told him what had occurred. The manager took my order and even delivered it to our room.

This hotel is right off the highway and very conveniently located. The rooms are affordable and have some personality. The beds are comfortable and the pillows are fluffy. The rooms are clean. The service is quick and friendly. I look forward to staying here again.

The staff at the Rio Grande Best Western went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable and satisfying. They truly went above and beyond. I would definitely stay here again - the rooms are nicely decorated and the hotel is kept very clean. I did not have time to use the pool/jacuzzi, but it looked nice from the outside! A++
