  The location is fine, but the hotel leaves a lot to be desired. The tile in the bathroom had mildew all over it & the shower head barely worked. We stayed at the hotel in October & it was still quite hot out. The air conditioning would not work in the room & we were told the ""government"" would not allow the Marriott to run it. Funny, we stayed two miles away our first night in Beijing & the air worked great! The room was sparse and the carpet dirty. We couldn't get the faucets to turn all the way off in the bathroom. We won't stay there again! So disappointed as we have stayed at Marriotts all over the world.

  The hotel has a great location, walk to tiananmen square, forbidden city, temple of heaven. but the beds were rock hard - contrary to the online description and not at all ...

  The hotel has a GREAT location, walk to Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven. But the beds were rock hard - contrary to the online description and not at all like other Courtyard Marriotts were I've stayed. The hotel's response when we asked to move was, "all beds are the same." The carpets were dirty and there was mold in the showers. And I can't say enough to warn readers about the absurd and rude lady working in the business center - she could not have been nastier or less helpful and on two days the internet connection didn't work anyway. It's a tough call on staying here - great location and decent for the price, but the service and the rooms would make me question whether to stay here again.
