I stayed at the days inn only one night would definetly stay again went to the love evoluton at the civic center and the location could'nt be better staff really nice free parking. Only thing I arrived an hour early and wouldn't let me check in but not a big deal. Room was very large clean and felt safe

The hotel was pretty old but the management appeared to be making a best effort to keep it up. Overall I would rate it adequate. That said, the location is ideal. If you're looking for a no-frills place to stay in downtown San Francisco, the Days Inn Civic Center works. Careful with your credit card though, they charged me again for the room even though I told them at check-in it had been pre-paid through online travel website . I'm still trying to get that sorted out...

This is my second time staying at this hotel, mainly because it's clean and convenient to the BART station. Front desk staff is very helpful. Amenities are minimal but you get what you pay for.

Very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. I have stayed in several SF hotels and my three main goals are - convenient location, cheap price and clean room. Location of this hotel was convenient - easily walked to the Castro and South Of Market Areas. Well travelled roads for most of the walks to both areas, so I was not concerned for my safety - even after bar close. Room was clean and well maintained throughout my stay - sheets and towels were changed every day. A little bit of a mildew issue in the shower/tub, but not too bad. One criticism had to do with the hand-held shower head in the shower. I prefer to have a fixed shower head rather than having to hold it as I use it. The room was handicapped accessible, so this might have been unique to this room and other rooms may have had fixed shower heads. Room had a refrigerator and microwave, which was nice. I will keep that in mind for next visit. Overall, a great value for the money. Very close to many activities, but yet very quiet in the room. I will definitely stay here again.

To get to this motel from the tourist part of SF we had to walk along Market St. which can be scary after dark. The Symphony, Opera and Civic Center are nice 'n' close though. The hotel itself was good--clean, great staff, a couple blocks from public transport, free breakfast of cold prepackaged muffins and such, great coffee, good size room, huge bathroom. The carpet looked clean but would turn bare feet black which was no big deal except we had our 11 mo. old son with us who played on the floor a lot. Great place for the money paid!
