  For the money, it's definitely worth a stay. I didn't get to explore the surrounding area that much since it was a business travel, but it is in a safe area and there were a lot of people walking around. The staffs was friendly and the included continental breakfast is a treat. They even make fresh waffles for you. There are few restaurants within four or five blocks from the hotel. From steakhouse to french to mexican and a few others including McDonalds. The gyro cart was a treat for a late night 2 am snacks and it only cost five bucks including a drink. Complimentary wifi was great albeit sporadically and a bit slow. There's Starbucks right across the street. My only wish is for a small refrigerator in the room and two elevators ;which, can't do anything about that;. Had to wait for more than 10 minutes one night because there were a lot of people checking in and I ended up taking the stairs. Thank you for the top floor smoking room.

  I thought this hotel was just right. Good location (only 1 block to subway), clean, helpful staff, and reasonably priced. The only negative was the small room size, but since I was by myself it was not an issue. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. It was just what I'd hoped for.

  The Clarion on Park Avenue was very reasonably priced, but very nice and comfortable. Ideal place if you only need a room for sleeping and changing clothes. The room faced Park Avenue. There was minimal traffic noise at night or in the morning (this was a weekend). Breakfast was simple but offered choices. I did have to call the desk to ask that they send up my suitcase.
