  The title says it all, well almost. The hot breakfast was delicious, the complimentary newspaper was informing, the cold bottled water was thirst-quenching, the non-smoking facility was refreshing, and the shopping/restaurant area next door was convenient. Thanks for a pleasnt hotel experience.

  Good price for being fairly close to downtown. i like the greek restaurant in the shopping center next door. it is also close to the zoo and botanical gardens.

  I was a bit uneasy about booking at this hotel due to 2 star rating and 1 review....which was bad. I am an experienced traveler, having stayed in all sorts of hotel in the U.S., Canada Europe and Japan. I founmd that this Hampton Inn was wel located: the staff friendly and helpful; the included breakfast about what I expected (could use some more healthy choices); the room vasic, but comfortable and clean; the bed very comfortable and overall, a fair value. A bonus is its location in the very attractive Birmingham suburb of Mountain Brook, with its Old English village.
