We stayed in 2 rooms and found a package deal with the Best of Banff activity pass/ room deal. I would avoid this because it is more expensive than just booking the hotel directly and then choose your activities as you go. We ended up cancellng the Best of Banff activity pass the day before and 3 months later they are still submitting charges to our credit card. To this moment it is still not straightened out and a little unfair. It is easy in the summer months to just walk down to the river and rent a canoe for a reasonable price. It is also easy to rent bikes downtown rather than feeling that you have to do the activities on the schdule provided for the activity pass
