Room was NOT updated, old furniture, shower door off track, closet door off track, old tile in bathroom, no decent chair to sit on. VERY NOISY, old a/c unit that smelled, could hear people upstairs all night, next door and upstairs a/c units and the ;spa tub; is not a tub at all it is a jacuzzi that you cannot put any bath products in. Plus the drains on the side are full of something yucky. Also the room has mirrors on two walls and about the jacuzzi like a 70's porn room!! The hotel is not anywhere near the water or any ;woods; so you hear noise from the business behind. I would not recommend this place for the price. For those who wish to have a cigar forget it a this property, they don't state it but you cannot smoke anywhere - good for some not for others. Only positive I can say is the bed is cool.

I have never complained before about noise at any hotel ever, but this place was ridiculous! Too bad because it's a beautiful lodge. Stayed with my family (2 kids, 9 & 12), thought the noise would die down eventually but it went on liturally all night long, in the hallways and down and around the pool area. At some points it sounded like a jet landing on the roof of the place. Didn't get more than a couple of hours of sleep. Would never stay again. Not what a place to rest should be.

The Lodge at Tiburon was the perfect spot for my week in the Bay Area. The rooms were great, the staff was excellent, food and service fantastic. The hotel had some ""special touches"" which make all the difference - the fruit infused water in the lobby that changed daily, the heated outdoor pool, free internet connection. The location is the real treat. 15 minutes outside of downtown San Francisco it's the perfect respite after a day of business or sightseeing. I would recommend it to anyone.

My friends & I had a fantastic time in Tiburon. The hotel is situated in a great spot. Close to the water and quite a few great seafood restaurants. The ferry to San Francisco is only 2 blocks away. The beds were very comfortable and the pool and courtyard are to die for. There is an outside fireplace, near the pool area, with comfortable chairs, where you can spend an evening chatting with friends and family. We would definately stay again.

My friends & I had a fantastic time in Tiburon. The hotel is situated in a great spot. Close to the water and quite a few great seafood restaurants. The ferry to San Francisco is only 2 blocks away. The beds were very comfortable and the pool and courtyard are to die for. There is an outside fireplace, near the pool area, with comfortable chairs, where you can spend an evening chatting with friends and family. We would definately stay again.
