I stayed at the hotel during parents weekend -- August 21-23. It was great! The staff was friendly and helpful. The only drawback was the construction. The Stewart St bridge was closed and you had to go around to get to the hotel. But by going that way, we found the McDonalds.

It is a nice hotel. The service is nice and all my requests were fulfilled: room location, view, extra microwave and fridge. The cheese and fruit basket I pre-ordered arrived just 5min after I entered my room. My only complaint is that the heating unit is noisy and is not really efficient. It makes the room very hot and dry or cold. I was sick so couldn't use the Fitness facility nor the pool. May be next time.

I enjoyed my stay. Staff and accomadations were excellent. I stayed above the pool and the bar on the 2nd floor, which was noisy at times, but both closed at 11:00pm so I was able to get a good night sleep. The pizza in the bar area was great and the the breakfast bar looked good although I did not eat there. My only complaints were, there was no micro wave or fridge in our room and they charged $ per day to use the internet. Other than that it was okay.
