I spent 1 night with my family and it was beyond nasty. We would not stay for the free breakfast because if the kitchen is as nasty as the room...... well, we would take the chance. The door was broken and I could not call the desk because the telephone was broken. I get sick everytime I think about that place. Don't bother reporting it, because it is privately owned.

This hotel has a nice location and large rooms, but I did have a few issues with it. First off, at check in, we were given our room keys and ""meal tickets"". I have never seen a hotel with this practice. When we got up the next morning, I did not know what I did with the meal tickets. I went to get replacements and was told there was a $* charge for replacements when I paid ""nicely"" for this room. The front desk manager would not budge on this so of course we did not eat. The room was huge and roomy. It had a seperate living area, but was outdated. I could deal with that part, but the tub had a hole in the bottom that had been patched with an even bigger ""bandaid"". It was about 2'x 3' in size. I was scared my foot would go through the tub. Next, the parking WAS NOT enough for this hotel. It was at almost at capacity and people parked against the curb behind other parking spaces. This made it very hard to back an SUV or truck out. People even parked in the handicapped parking and the landing spaces . They had a small parking lot that sat off to the side in the rear of the hotel. Needless to say no one parked there. Here's some ""iceing"". We came in late one night and a friend had given us some TV dinners. No exageration, it took 15 min a piece to warm them in the small, old microwave. The timer didnt even work. I would never stay there again!

For $+ a night, this place is a giant nasty hole. We were originally supposed to stay here 3 nights and left after less than one night. We arrived and the room had furniture that was literally falling apart. The coffee table was on its last leg, the drawers looked like they were put together with glue. The room itself was completely outdated with a fridge that looked like it had been there since the 70's - but this was not the biggest issue. I went to use the restroom only to find roaches in our bathroom - and not the big tree roaches that we get in the south - but the dirty nasty roaches that say you need to clean this place.I was afraid to use the toilet because it was not as clean as it should be for a hotel room of this price (the motel 6 is cleaner), the bathroom floor was dirty and nasty and I was afraid to even touch the shower. Although the linens on the bed looked newer, I was scratching as soon as I got in bed (bed bugs?) and felt like there was crap biting me for what little sleep I got. I finally fell asleep and was awoken at 8:30 am on the 4th of July to the sound of banging and power tools directly outside our room. Who the heck does construction at 8:30 am on the Fourth of July in a hotel? The pool was filthy and dirty and was cloudy (I have never seen a cloudy pool before). We did finally check in to a Residence Inn off Corporate and when I took off my socks that I had worn walking around the hotel room all night, the bottom of them were black - disgusting.

The room was okay and the staff was okay. We stayed at the Hyatt Place just down the road the night before and it was much better. Better Staff, Security, location, room, and Price. The quality inn wasn't that bad, but seemed much worse after staying at the more inexpensive and better Hyatt Place just down the road. The rooms were too noisy from the pool and the parking lot.

The room decor is almost ratty. The rug had pulls in it. The bed cover was old. This propertry has gone from a good business class hotel to a 'hard hat' hotel. There were many construction contractors stayiing there. The staff's additude at the desk was 'whatta u want' instead of 'how may I help you'. The breakfast staff were nice and courteous. The best part was the breakfast, a made to order hot breakfast with eggs, meats, cereal. But the dining area was not really clean. The exercise room is almost a joke. It's a converted room with a tread mill and a stair stepper. It's a good location, near shopping and the interstate.
