I had read the reviews and was a little skeptical about booking this hotel, but the Hilton up the street at the convention center was so much more expensive that I decided to take the chance. AND I AM GLAD I DID! This is more of a boutique hotel, recently renovated. The reception area is modern and european. The greeters were VERY friendly, nice and helpful . . . and not just on arrival. Because I was there for four days, I had consistent service that is typically unheard off. They have a small gym which is probably adequate for most people. If not, they directed me to a Gold's Gym as well as a larger gym at the Hilton up the street. There is a restaurant on the roof with a really outstanding breakfast, lunch and dinner menu. I had the opportunity of all three and was overwhelmed at how good the chef was. And the views of the city are second to none. My room was on the top floor, small (but that is standard for euro-style hotels) clean and nicely decorated. Everything was very modern. The bed was very firm. Some people like this, others do not. Again, reminded me of my travels in Europe. I would stay here again and again and again. One word of caution; panhandlers are EVERYWHERE in Austin, and the hotel was not an exception. Oh yeah, the bellhops are also excellent and on top of their game.

I stayed here for business and had a great stay. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the location is perfect. It's near the convention center, 6th st. and access to I35. Definitely would stay here again

The hotel was great. It was a whole lot closer to 6th street then I had previously thought that it would be. The valet service was awesome. It was so much easier and worth the $25 to valet then it would've been to park across the street. The only negative thing I do have to say, however, is that there was an item left behind and it took me three days to get into contact with the right person. Finally after talking to the right person I was able to get the item Fed Exed.. I just wished they would've been a little more eager to find the item in the first place. Other than that though the stay was amazing. It was a great birthday trip and money well spent!

I'd like to consider myself a hotel connoisseur. My girlfriend and I like to try every type of hotel there is and this is by far one of the BEST in Austin. We loved the place. Check in / Check out couldn't be better. The rooms here are VERY nice. Take my word for it.
