I visited DC with two of my girlfriends and the hotel location was perfect for all the touristy things we wanted to do. We were able to take the metro (only a few blocks away in two directions), the bus to Georgetown (bus stop is only a few steps from the hotel), walk to the Ritz Carlton for drinks (10 min walk), and eat at a great restaurant on the next block (Founding Farmers). The staff of the hotel was very helpful in arranging for a bigger room even after checking in late. The elevator is in the process of being replaced, so every time we took the elevator we had our own personal operator. It wasn't too much of a hassle since we weren't in any particular rush to get to anywhere. Even when we walking in on housekeeping putting together our room, the staff was very nice and their work was seamless. All in all, I would stay at Hotel Lombardy again and would highly recommend it to my friends.

We had a very good experience at the Lombardy Hotel. Our room was spacious and clean and the staff was very professional. The hotel is an easy walk to the metro and their are many dining options close by. A nice part of D.C.

Very nice clean, comfortable accomodations. Small sitting area off the bedroom with Mini refrigerator, coffee maker and sink for eating/drinking beverages. Small room off bedroom and bathroom with closet and small vanity for doing makeup. Very close to George Washington University, 3 blocks from Metro stations, 5 blocks from the White House. Great restaurants close by. Founding Fathers Restaurant just across the street toward the White House. Very friendly and helpful staff. Quaint small elevators that still need to be operated by elevator operator, so may need to be patient if in a hurry. Those in a hurry could use the stairwell. However if on the 11th floor it could be quite a trek Toilet backed up and hotel staff responded immediately

April 8 2009 ' I unfortunatley booked a double double for 3 large people. The rooms here are very small. The bathroom is so small only one person can fit in at any time. The shower water went from too hot to too cold took 5 min just for me to get in. Our dirty towels ended up all dry and back in the bathroom the next day. No shampoo or conditioner replaced after first use. The floor was not vacuumed each day. There was not evan a microwave oven in the kitchenette. So I called Travelocity to see if they could put me in a differant hotel after the first night of seven. They said that they could not do anything about my problem. I contacted the hotel manager and they said they had a suite that would be bigger but I would have to pay 50.00 extra per night. I had already prepaid over $ ***a night four months ago. I searched other hotels today and could stay at the Ritz for less than that..: ( If you or anyone in your party is a BIG person dont stay here.....
