  Stayed 3 nites while in Edinburgh. Located within 10 min walk of Dean Bridge bus route. Old row houses that were tastefully converted into charming, quiet hotel. Wonderful staff, nice bar/cafe, clean room w/comfy bed, huge bathroom and they had washcloths. Scott, concierge most helpful in booking us coach tour thru Timberbush to Glencoe, Lochness, Highlands. Would highly recommend them as well. Breakfast buffet included cereals, pastries, sliced meats/cheeses, fruit, juices, breads.

  As a road warrier on constant business trips, Channings was a refreshing change from the chain hotel offerings. Exceptional service with a welcoming family feel. Superb dining, comfortable room with appropriate amenities. Close enough to city center for walking yet in a nice quite residential area. I do plan on returning!

  So wonderful we changed our plans to stay longer! the staff was fantastic, the best experience in a wonderful country! everything we'd dreamed it would be!

  I would recommend to anyone going to edinburgh. the staff was very friendly and the room had all the techno gadgets we love to have. a bit of a walk ...

  I would recommend to anyone going to Edinburgh. The staff was very friendly and the room had all the techno gadgets we love to have. A bit of a walk to the monuments but not too bad. Worth the walk for a quiet, family place.
