The standard rooms are no biger than closets. The bath room was small hardly any room to move about, The plumning diod not work and hotel staff were unresponsive to drainage problem. The sheets and towels were loweast quality. Ovwerall this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed. The room rate escalated to $* on the third night; this was a major rip-off.

My daughter and i stayed at this hotel on Sept 15-17 2009.We were upgraded as soon as we got there Tuesday morning even though we got there earlier then check in.The suite was fantastic very clean and spacious.The only thing bad i can say about this hotel is the pillows are hard and no coffee in the room even though we had a coffee maker.I just went around the corner to a store and bought what i needed.Staff was very helpful and friendly.Also try not to use the computers they are very expensive to use But the location is fantastic.Time Square is about a 5 minute walk try to take the HOP ON HOP OFF TOUR BUS $* for a ticket and they are good for 48hours plus u get the water cruise included. Tour Bus Tickets can be bought on any corner though just look for the people in yellow jackets or blue shirts it is a great deal.The tour guides on the bus are also very helpful just tell them what you want to see and they will let you know when you need to get off the bus.If we ever go again i will stay at the Wellington again!!!

Never felt unsafe while walking to and from attractions, well light streets and security people around if needed..AAAAAA+++++++++ for the Wellington Hotel..Thank You for a great first time visit to New York ..

the hotel is in a perfect location. near the shows times square and plenty of eating places. fluffys on 7th ave is a great breakfast place and reasonably priced. went to u s open tennis tournament and the subway entrance was 10 feet from side hotel door. rooms are small but clean and we did not spend much time there. the staff was extremely courteous and friendly. would definitely do it again

Room was small, bathroom was smaller, room was old and view was not great, but the bed was very comfortable and we were only in the room long enough to sleep and get ready. It was clean and served its purpose. For the price it was a good choice.
