From Baton Rouge, LA I stayed 1 night with some friends of ours that live just outside of Chicago. This hotel is the perfect location for most tourist type stuff in Chicago. A less than * xi ride will take you to nearly any attraction including Willis/Sears Tower, Navy Pier, Aquarium, Soldier Field, Field Museum, among other things. Walking distance to Magnificent Mile and Chicago River boat tours and multiple restaurants. The water taxi is also just a short walk away. The hotel is very nice and staff very helpful. We will stay here again next time we are in Chicago. Lastly, ask for a lake view...you will get the Chicago river as well as the lake.

We took this package last Labor Day weekend, hotel and flight from Newark, NJ. Hotel is right in the heart of Chicago, walk to shops, restaurants, buses on the corner to Art Institute, Zoo, etc. Nice room, good services, good value, would recommend. There is a good place on the corner of Michigan Ave for breakfast.

Everything about our stay at the Chicago Hyatt Regency was wonderful. We pulled our car up, had immediate help with luggage, turned our car over to the valet, and checked in -- all in a matter of less than 15 minutes. I was very impressed with our desk clerk. Our room was exceptional, very well appointed and spotless. (My wife did feel that the bathroom vanity was too high.) Check-out also was easy and did not take 5 minutes. All of the staff that we encountered was extremely friendly and helpful. We certainly will stay there again and recommend it to our friends. It was a delightful experience, but with one caveat. I think the overnight parking is much too expensive. Forty-eight dollars ($48) seems excessive by about $18.

The Hotel was great, clean, they let us check in early and check out late, helped us store our luggage while taking in a play. Will stay here again. This was our second time staying here and we will stay here again - also great location to do some walking and shopping.
