Overall the value for money was good. Rooms were clean, breakfast was good and served early enough for those looking to head out to sightseeing. Bus Stop and Train Station were both very close. The London tube in general is not stroller friendly and although the Old Street stop is a train station stop, coming from the touristy areas doesn't make this a great location.
The only downsides were: The location was in the financial district, which does NOT die at night and there were a couple of very busy/loud pubs/clubs nearby which made sleeping at night tough. Also there was no airconditioning and in the summer it just so happened to be very hot. The rooms are small and we were 2 adults and a toddler - if your plan is to just sleep at night then it is fine.
The staff was courteous, but I wouldn't call them friendly or helpful. If I were not travelling with children, I would stay here again. -
O.K. for the price

Clean hotel in not-so-great part of London. Close to the subway, Noisy in hotel and out (no air conditioning/windows open) Elevator out last 2 days we were there for renovation. Fairly good selection for continental breakfast. Desk personnel not very helpful regarding tourist questions. This was our first trip to Europe.
