Important Hotel Information
- IMPORTANT NOTICE: We have started the construction of a new wing. No work is to be done during regular sleeping hours. This will add 35 rooms & suites, an indoor pool & hot tub, a new fitness center and elevators. While this construction will not take place in the area housing the existing hotel rooms, construction noises will occur during daytime business hours. We anticipate the outdoor pool will remain open most of the time, and the hot tub is also expected to remain open. The construction is visible from our mountain-view rooms and the restaurant. The slated completion date is in the summer 2010.

The hotel was really nice. My husband and I went for a get-away weekend. We really had no complaints at all. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. Rex's was a fun place to go eat and watch a football game. A couple of very minor things I would change would be: Bring your own shampoo and conditioner (the shampoo that the hotel provides is a combination shampoo & conditioner and it smells like mint). I would also warn people that if you pay the extra $20 through website for a breakfast what you get is a voucher for $20 worth of food at Rex's (which offers great food), but the voucher won't cover the cost of a complete breakfast for two. You will end up coming up with a little extra cash for this. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Steamboat is awesome and simply beautiful this time of year.

My mom and I stayed at the Holiday Inn in Steamboat Springs over Memorial Day weekend. Besides the fact that the whole town lost power, but was able to restore within 45 minutes the vacation was great. Our stay at the Holiday Inn was more than what we expected for what we paid. Also, they have an outdoor jacuzzi. When I booked I didn't see it listed on their website but they had one which was great because I was looking for that. The beds were amazing. I wish I could have bought one and the pillows too while I was there. Staff was very helpful and courtious. I would definetly go back if I am ever in Steamboat Springs again. You should definetly stay at the Holiday Inn if you are looking for comfort and a decent price.

We were impressed with the Steamboat Springs Holiday Inn--a short 3 minute shuttle ride to the main ski center by the gondola. The staff was uniformly friendly, positive and helpful. Every request was quickly addressed. The rooms are more than adequate: clean, some with a lovely view of the mountains. The Rex restaurant offers burgers, pizzas and higher end fare with a decent wine list. All in all, a value package.
