Cost Effective
09/25/2009The hotel was older but nice enough for the price. we only stayed one night. the kids enjoyed the pool area which was indoor and outdoor.

This hotel was overrun with kids. Running up and down the hall all night. Don't know where the adults were. Also, avoid the restaurant. Very poor service and waits of 45 min. for breakfast. There were only 3 other people in the dining room. Seems like noboby is in charge.

I must say I was skeptical based on the other reviews but It was a very nice hotel with helpful employees. The location is very central offering family activities including the amusement park next door. We were here for a family reunion and the food and service was excellent. Our family plans to use this hotel again in two years when we come back to the Myrtle Beach area. We were surprise to learn that there is a water sports rental directly behind the hotel and we rented jet ski's and rode them up and down the waterway. It was a beautiful ride and I would recommend it to others staying at the hotel. We dined in the restaurant for breakfast which was very good and economical. I would recommend this hotel to those who don't like to be in the noisy beach area and prefer a more quiet laid back atmosphere.

I never write complaints but this place was terriable. They double charged our account by accident. The hallway and elevator smelt like puke and urine and the room was over powered by a strong cleaning spray. Walls are paper thin and so you can hear everything. We decided to eat breakfast there the next morning and ordered off the menu instead of buffet took over an hour for the food no over exaderating and my husbands french toast was doughy. It was bad not as good as the pics make it look. Only good things we're the nice employees.
