  This hotel was beautiful. exceptionally clean, staff was friendly (even for france!). it is within walking distance to all restaurants and sites in caen...the beaches were farther away than ...

  this hotel was beautiful. exceptionally clean, staff was friendly (even for france!). it is within walking distance to all restaurants and sites in Caen...the beaches were farther away than we expected (about an hour by car), but there is a museum right in Caen dedicated to world war II. book the day tour of normandy online before u get there, it was booked for us :( we will definitly go back and stay here again

  We found our room to be spacious,comfortable,and very clean. The location is central to shopping, and local tourist sites within walking distance. The staff was very friendly and spoke very good english. We came in from Paris the day before we had a scheduled D-Day Normandy tour, inorder to avoid a 12 hour day roundtrip from Paris. This worked well and we were not exhausted when we returned to Paris the next day. The only thing missing in the room was an alarm clock, but the front desk gave us a wake-up call promptly in the morning, and arranged for a taxi to take us to the train station to meet our tour guide.
  
  I would stay at this hotel again, and will recommend it to others.
