Listen up, if you are a light sleeper, like myself, then this is NOT the place to stay. First off, parking is a bit of a nightmare, once you find the motel that is. It is hidden down a sidestreet and we drove around a good while trying to find it. Once there, you have to park in an underground garage, but first you have to ring the hotel from the keypad and wait for someone to let you in, can take a little while. The room was quite basic, NO air conditioning. What really upset me is that 1/2 of the rooms face the water, sounds great doesn't it? However, there is a restaurant/pub in the first floor area and people sat out there till 3AM eating drinking, which by all means they have a right to do, however, very loudly. I kept the window closed, put in an ear plug, and still tossed and turned from the noise. Of course the front desk isn't going to do anything about it. This is my 11th or 12th review and the first time I have ever spoken so criticial of a hotel. They obviously know this is a problem so why they don't do something about it is beyond me. If you are a heavy sleeper and can do the late night, early morning partying right below your window, then give it a chance. If not, you best find somewhere else to stay.
