• NEVER AGAIN!!!

  I have over thirty years of travel experience both domestic and abroad but have NEVER experienced such a rude motel staff, from the desk clerk to the owner! The room was very worn and dirty. It was supposed to be a Non-Smoking room but had a heavy stench of cigarette smoke. The carpets were absoultely grungy. Not to mention large semi-trucks parked right at our door with their engines running constantly. After much insistance, the ""Staff"" finally agreed to move us to another room but that room wasn't much better! We have stayed at many Red Roof Inns before and for the most part we have been pleased. They advised us they owned this motel and Red Roof Inn Corp. worked for them!! In my opinion, they are blemishing the Red Roof Inn reputation and should have their franchise pulled!! Couldn't wait to leave very early the next AM! NEVER HERE AGAIN

  The room was like a motel from the 70's. Nothing special; nothing extra. Coffee pot in the room was the only perk. Everything about it was just OK. A short drive to the Norfolk airport made it convenient on our way to our final destination.

  I stayed in one of the suites. the smoke alarm was in the closet and the wires were exposed in the cieling. also, one of the door knobs was falling ...

  I stayed in one of the suites. The smoke alarm was in the closet and the wires were exposed in the cieling. Also, one of the door knobs was falling off. The toilet bowl was leaking and not bolted to the floor. The room was filthy and the hotel itself was dirty.

  Room was clean but soap scum in shower. easy to find & very close to convenience stores, restaurants, etc. woke @ 8am to banging noise and some lady shouting profanities; it may ...

  Room was clean but soap scum in shower. Easy to find & very close to convenience stores, restaurants, etc. Woke @ 8AM to banging noise and some lady shouting profanities; it may have been the cleaning crew. Missing channel guide & typical cards/pamplets you get in room. Not bad, but could have been better.
