WOW I WAS NOT EXPECT SUCH A NICE HOTEL, I FELT LIKE ROYALTY!! I THINK I EVEN GOT LOST INSIDE MY HOTEL ROOM, THE VIEW WAS BREATH TAKING, I WILL STAY AT THE DOUBLETREE EVERY TIME THAT I VISIT

If youthe hotel. have a choice of staying in a Motel 6 or staying at this hotel.I would stay at the Motel 6..The Hotel Staff was very very very RUDE! noting on the web site matched the hotel.This is very very old hotel!..The Front desk mgr named M was very rude.. all the staff is half as i was suppose to stay for 7 nights instead i checked out 2 nights into my stay..My room @ the Embassy Suites alot beter staff is great ..DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL.. you will not enjoy your stay at all.

I like the location of the Doubletree. It is near the Galleria with many fine restaurants and a nice food court. It is a short walk to the beach and a 30 minute walk to Ft. Lauderdale beach. The staff was friendly and responsive to requests. In the past there have been elevator delays, but all three elevators were working this time. I have stayed there several times and would do so again.

The Double Tree Hotel has the best service, I think it is the best hotel I ever stayed in, the suites are gorgeous, it has a stove, dishwasher, microwave, dishes, pots, everything you need for your stay, it is like a second home away from your home. The bathroom also is beautiful. I enjoyed my stay there very much.

1. Roaches in the dishwasher ? day 1 room 1 - In an attempt to retrieve silverware to enjoy my dessert, I was greeted by a number of cockroaches. 2. Balcony patio doors were filthy ? day 1 room 1 - I had the water view room, which I could not enjoy the view because the patio doors were filthy. 3. The air ducts/vents is rotten/rusty ? day 1 room 1 ? It was very hot as expected in FL (in June), after searching for the thermostat to crank up the air, I was afraid to breath. The air ducts/vents were rotten/rusted/dirty and the wall surrounding the vents had bad water damage. 4. My Ipod radio unit - day 1 room 1 ? I could not plug my small unit in the bathroom because it would shut off the power in the bedroom. 5. The microwave did not work ? day 2 room 2 ? After a long day and a new room, I wanted to warm up the rest of my lunch and the microwave did not work. 6. The elevators ? every day ? The doors took so long to open, just when you begin to think you are stuck, BAMMM, they spring open. 7. The hallway carpet is so loose, it is a claim (trip and fall) waiting to happen. This hotel is far from a 4star hotel. However, that young lady at the front desk was a gem. She was very accommodating and tried her best. I will give her 4 Stars, but the Gallery 1 ? A Doubletree Guest Suites Hotel gets B= a star.
