I recently stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott in Alpharetta, GA. It had all the perks of staying with family without the need for drinking or therapy later. From the moment I arrived I was able to choose 1st, 2nd, or 3rd floor, fridge or no fridge, additional blankets, wake-up call - many of the options in any hotel, but with a remarkably friendly delivery. When I entered the room and couldn't find the fridge the desk clerk did not laugh at me, but directed me to the ample armoir, which housed the fridge and microwave. The toilettries were great, and when I came back the next day my own toitlettry items and jewelry were laid out on towels lining the sink. The front desk staff helped me print maps, directed me to local restaurants, and points of interest, and provided warm conversation for this lonely traveler. The work-out facility was small but clean and well-stocked, and there was a small shop in the hotel featuring resonably priced food and essentials. No $10 toothpaste to be seen. The package I had selected came with the breakfast buffet, which was warm and flavorful, and stocked with a wide variet of food items perfect for anyone, even my diabetic diet. Overall, the most important feature for me is that I felt safe. It was my first business trip and first experience traveling alone, and I felt completely safe in the hotel. I look forward to staying at this location again and would encourage anyone in the are to stay there as well.

Super efficient and friendly front desk, beautiful facility, room was immaculate and perfect setup for us with the desk for some office work and sofa for sitting. Bed was soooo comfortable. Downstairs lobby/fireplace room was great. Loved its large plasma TV and the comfortable sitting area, perfect for reading the Sunday paper, again super clean and new. Pool clean and never crowded. Loved the hotel location, walk to Walgreens for anything needed. Breakfast buffet was beyond most hotel's spreads. I can't wait to go back. Could not find a single thing I didn't like!
