We ""won"" an auction at a fundraiser for two nights at this ""resort"". Although we overpaid it was ok because it was a fundraiser. What was not ok was the poor quality of this ""resort"". Room was saturated with smoke, stains were all over the bedspread and couch, and we were afraid to sit on anything or take off our shoes. We checked out the hotel restaurant which was disappointing so we went off-site for dinner. The hotel is many miles from the highway and it was scary driving to/from the highway. After checking in, we immediately left the hotel to go to dinner in Rancho Mirage. A couple hours later we drove back to the hotel to check out, pack our bags back into our car, and stayed at an acceptable resort in Rancho Mirage. The person at the front desk seemed surprised that we checked out only 3 hours after checking in...

We went to the hotel after trying to find the best value for our money. We just wanted a place we could relax, nap, swim, and enjoy ourselves. My boyfriend is INCREDIBLY hard to please but I was pleasantly surprised when he told me I found a good place. It's not a luxury resort by any means but it's quiet (with the exception of children at the pool during the day), clean, easy to navigate, and the staff is friendly. The Good: The pools are great! 8 of them! The big pool is warm while the others are hot and relaxing. We loved to go swim late at night while the rest of the hotel slept. The stars were beautiful! The poolside room is definitely worth it. We just walked out of our backdoor to the pools. The spa was just okay. Nothing too amazing. I loved my facial, my bfriend wasn't crazy about the spa at all. The hotel restaurant was okay. We preferred the local Mexican restaurants. Or, we drove into Cathedral City or Rancho Mirage. It's a bit of a drive but we like to explore. The Bad: One complaint is the walls. They are very thin. We actually had to call the front desk at 2am on our first trip because our neighbors were so loud. Within 5 mins security stopped by their room. We didn't hear them after that. Another complaint is the fact that there really isn't much around the hotel. The hotel is in an older residential area and the town nearby doesn't have a lot going on. Overall we liked it enough to come back two more times AND we're going back in 3 weeks for my birthday. It's just a great place to relax, be quiet, and enjoy the water.

Very nice place to stay for a nite or even a couple of days. A/c worked great,pool and Spas were wonderfull. especially the 24 hour spa,perfect for those restless nights,a nice soak and then peacefull sleep. The staff was to perfect---very hospitable and helpfull. Look forward to staying again.

Very nice place to stay for a nite or even a couple of days. A/c worked great,pool and Spas were wonderfull. especially the 24 hour spa,perfect for those restless nights,a nice soak and then peacefull sleep. The staff was to perfect---very hospitable and helpfull. Look forward to staying again.
