I will never stay there again. Due to the price I wasn't expecting much but come one. The room was tiny. No house keeping unless you paid extra to do it. If you wanted clean towels or sheets you had to go get them yourself. The tv/cable didn't work. The place was old and dirty. No pool, no bar, no nothing. I just can't believe the place. Like I said, I'll never stay there again.

  • Econolodge with out the high standards

I've stayed in some suites while traveling, and have come to really enjoy them. When in DC, I've stayed at Homestead, among others, and was well pleased. When I saw a homestead near Six Flags Over Texas, at a good rate, I jumped on it. BIG MISTAKE. Think Econolodge with out the standards. 1) Full set of dishes. Includes spatula! Minus the skillet, pan, only one glass, no coffee pot, no dish soap, but did have dish drainer. 2) No complimentary soap or shampoo, so that's a trip to the grocery store. 3) 4 gang of plug ins at the breakfast/work table didn't work, so I had to stretch my laptop's power cord across the kitchen. Lamp over the table also didn't work. 4) Wall lights by the bed had oversized vanity bulbs, so the lampshades were only connected to the lamp on one side, and hung askew. Not that it mattered, they quit working after the first night. 5) Mattresses will last forever, since they were cast from concrete. Sheets were clean! 6) Silverware was nearly non existent. 7) There was a cutting board, but no knives. 8) One fork, one spoon, one big spoon, can opener!, two butter knives, microwave, toaster. 9) Two burner range ... no pots or pans. If you are on a tight budget, and just need a flop near Six Flags, this is it! If you travel frequently enough to enjoy the comforts of home, keep looking. Front desk tried to help, and was very friendly. Liquor store is 20 minutes away, and close at 9pm. Hookers are closer!

  • Would definitely stay again.

The hotel was nice, the rooms were clean. My only complaint was, we asked for and got a non - smoking room, but when we walked in the room it smelled of cigarette smoke and there was an ash tray on the counter. So we did not complain to the front desk, no reason to. But, seeing how we were only there to sleep, three nights, while our days were spent out and about it wasn't that bad, just had to buy a can of lysol. Six Flags was just down the road and there was a real nice restaurant right in front of the hotel, within walking distance. I would definetly stay here again and recommend it to my family and friends. This is a great location if you are going to go to Six Flags or any of the other attractions.

  • Good location but not that clean.....

The room smelled a little smokey. The tub was so dirty that i had to actually put on flip flops to take a shower. Eventhough i didnt use the dishes in the cabinets, they were still dirty. When I arrived, I had to wait for about 10 minutes for someone to come down and unlock the front door so that I could check in. Also, I had to ask for a shower curtain for my room because it wasnt one there. Then, when the front desk clerk brought it up, she just gave it to me. I had to put the freakin shower curtain up myself!!!! I dont think I would stay again come to think of it........
