  This was a basic hotel next to a mediocre casino 30 mi from anywhere unless you like to fish. There is no cell coverage and I don't know where the other reviewers came up with all the accolades unless they work for Best Western. There are a 100 better places to stay in the area and I would recommend simply staying in South Lake Tahoe. Remember...you get what you pay for. By-the-way, the only secure door at night is the one to your room if you secure it yourself.

  We found what we have looked for. comfortable new rooms. wireless internet. very helpful frontdesk. we got support for planing our daytrips. perfect to visit bodie, monolake, south lake tahoe ...

  We found what we have looked for. Comfortable new rooms. Wireless Internet. Very helpful frontdesk. We got support for planing our daytrips. Perfect to visit Bodie, Monolake, South Lake Tahoe etc. Parkingplace is big it always looks empty, Gasstation nearby.We were glad to find such a lovely spot in the ""dessert""

  This is a very good hotel in a great setting overlooking the lake. the rooms were very satisfactory, and the staff was courteous and professional. we would recommend this place.
