Hey, it's a Travelodge. My expectations were not high, especially from reading other reviews. We were there to visit our kids at UF and see a football game, sowe did not spend much time there. But the room was clean and the continental breakfast was fine too. I think I saved about $80 compared with the hotel I usually stay at. The hotel is actually conveniently located to UF. All-in-all I give in a 7 out of 10.

A clean room near the interstate. The ice machine works. The linens are clean. If you want quiet, ask for a room away from the highway. Downside: The AC/Heater is kind of loud and they jack up the prices for big days at the university, like football games and graduation.

08/31/2008I reserved and paid for a non-smoking and ended up in a rather seedy smoking room. cigarette burns in the carpet, cigarette burns in the bathroom counter, dirty coffeemaker ...
I reserved and paid for a NON-SMOKING and ended up in a rather seedy SMOKING room. Cigarette burns in the carpet, cigarette burns in the bathroom counter, dirty coffeemaker and a missing drain stopper in the sink. As one might imagine in a smoking room, it smelled rather bad. I won't be back.
