The Alden Hotel Splugenschloss is the smallest and most intimate Boutique Hotel in Zurich. The historic hotel building, under heritage protection, dates back to 1895 and was completely refurbished 2004 with the aim of restoring its original splendor. The Alden Hotel Splugenschloss now combines fin-de-siecle elegance with the high-tech comforts of today.The Alden Hotel comprises deluxe rooms, junior suites and suites which all measure between 600 and 1000 square feet. All suites offer the latest in comfort with a luxurious interior retaining some of the original stucco work and parquet floors.The deluxe rooms are generously sized with a minimum of 600 square feet. The junior suites and suites comprise generously sized living- and sleeping rooms. All bathrooms are equipped with whirlpool tubs, separate shower and shower toilets. On request, the hotel provides fitness equipment in room. Air conditioning, video on demand, flat screen televisions, high speed Internet access and wireless LAN are available in all rooms and suites.At Alden per te, the Mediterranean restaurant, tempting Italian specialities are served. In summer guests are also entertained "al fresco" in front of the hotel's historic and picturesque building.
