My stay was July 7 thru July 13th 2009 I came with 4 other co-workers on a business trip. Our Union made all the arrangements, and I could not have been happier. All Staff members were very courteous and listened attentively to make our stay the best. Breakfast got busier the closer it got to 9am. so be sure to go early. I could not believe all the good choices that were available. Yogurt, muffins, fresh fruit, sausages or turkey bacon, eggs each day prepared different. make your own waffles in 2 minutes. a toaster for bagels, English muffins, etc. Hot/Cold cereals, juices & teas. Coffee is served all day, another nice touch. The room was the best especially the bed, it was so comfortable, it was hard to get out of it in the morning. A lot of room for the price, plenty of chairs and a recliner. Bring your laptop as there's an area for hooking up to the internet. I like having a microwave and the small refrigerator helpful for the many days my stay required. A mirror door closes your suitcses off from the rest of the room. A nice large sink area that I appriecated for getting my make-up prefect. A small wall separates the bedroom area from the sitting area and kitchenette. I felt that I had a studio apartment! Close to the freeway and the L train. Outback and it's bar was great and their Waiters were very knowledgeable & helpful about Chicago. There's a gym & small but adequate indoor swimming pool. Parking was safe and secure. In fact we all had a great time at this hotel that we're returning back to stay for 11 days again in Aug. my only regrets I wish I could bring my family.

My hubby and I stayed here during our recent trip over the weekend and were not exactly impressed with the room. The service was great especially in getting us to and from the train. The employees were helpful and kind. The room had an odd layout for as the shower and toilet were in a separate room with the sink outside;. Don't be late for breakfast or you'll be buying your own elsewhere! The parking garage was a nice touch, but we'll definitely be staying downtown next time.

We were a party of two.It was not a good room for two adults. Certainly not three star as Travelocity rated them. The room was poorly designed: the furniture was uncomfortable; the closet was ackward to get to; and the arrangement of the bathroom with the sink in the bedroom space and the door to the toilet/shower difficult to enter and leave. Also, due to the flooding it was difficult to get from the airport to the hotel.We waited for an hour while busses from other hotels came past two and three times. We would have tolerated the wait if out phone calls would have elicited honest responses. The room was clean.

This hotel gave away our room because we arrived late at night, even when we had specifically requested a late arrival notice and told them when we were coming. They did not seem to care. One of the workers named X told us that if we wanted our room that we reserved the next day we would need to be in the hotel at 12 or call them. He would not even take care of it himself. The next night we requested more pillows, after an hour and a half, we went to bed with no extra pillows. I was extremely dissappointed with the service at this hotel. I will not be staying there again.

We stayed here while visiting our son in Chicago. We found our stay at the Spring Hill Suites to be very pleasant. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The bed is the most comfortable we've ever slept in! The staff was friendly and accommodating. Every morning they have an extensive complimentary breakfast with a nice assortment of hot and cold breakfast items. The free parking is a nice plus. The hotel is within walking distance to the city subway system. Outback restaurant is attached to the hotel. There are also some nice little restaurants a couple blocks down the street. It's a nice affordable choice not only for business people, but families too. We'll definitely stay here on our next visit.
