This place was seriously run down. The room we were 1st assigned we discovered (after my child fell asleep) that the airconditioner didn't work. The window on the 3rd floor opened without a screen for protection. The only solution was to change rooms (and wake a very sleepy child). The next room smelled hugely of smoke. This is supposed to be a smoke free hotel. There was no fitted sheet, only a flat sheet over a removable pillow top. The blankets had holes in them. The pool was very cloudy. The only reason we continued to stay the night was because we had driven 12 hours and were exhausted! Needless to say I could not even bring myself to crawl under the sheets and instead choose to use my own blankets from our car trip!

I was hopeful that this hotel would be in better shape. Unfortunately, it was in need of a facelift. The elevator floor had cracked tile. You could see the hallway light through a gap between our door and its frame. The shower curtain rod was loose. The carpet was old. One wall in our room had skid marks from shoes. Corners in the hallway and in our room were chipped. The only positive was that the bedding and bathroom was clean. This hotel has been here for awhile and I would not recommend it.

The hotel was going through some renovations. I wish they had started with the rooms first. There were some low divider walls in the room with protective plastic edges placed over the corners - the problem was that they were all coming off the walls taking the plaster with them. Looked horrible. Some were very close to the bed and made it hard not to get clothing or bedding caught on them. There was soap scum in the bath tub. We had a difficult time getting the room cooled down. It remained very humid in the room after a heavy rainstorm. We had a small OLD coffee maker and the maid neglected to leave any cups. It wasn't a deal breaker- just frustrating. The breakfast was standard - bagels, muffins, dry cereal. They had a waffle maker, but I didn't see any batter at the time I was there. Better to eat at the Cracker Barrel way down the road. My little girl loved the pool. The pool was a nice feature. The water was not treated properly and made everyone's eyes sting. The hotel was okay for the most part. It was quiet. The staff was very nice. I think the price was a bit high for the quality.

I would recommend hotel. Great price, easy to find, staff was great, breakfast awesome. Local restaurants easy to find--front desk clerk printed out directions very helpful and easy to follow. Beware if you get a smoking room it is pretty stinky. We booked on-line and did not get a choice (probably because there were no nonsmoking available). I would definately stay again, of course in non smoking room!

I have stayed at this Confort Suites several times over the past 18 months. We have always been greeted warmly and every need was filled with a smile. My children loved the indoor pool. They even kept it open late for us. We will stay here again!
