  The location of the hotel was great for most of the stay. It was in the financial district so the area was very quiet on Saturday and Sunday. Not much open in the way of restaurants. We just spent time in other parts of London on those days and returned to the hotel when it was time to call it a day. Tube stations very near. Walking distance to the Tower of London, London Bridge and other historical sites. The restaurant in the hotel was a bit different but the one evening meal we had there was Argentinian beef and was very good. There were pubs all around (not open Sat and Sun) and the one right next door was a great vallue. Room was fine...not fancy, somewhat understated, but a nice bathroom, good bed and free internet.
