  The Ibis hotel is located near the airport in an area of office buildings so is not good for sightseeing, but is very handy for business travelers or vacationers who need to layover in Zurich for the night. The room rates are very reasonable for Zurich, which is an expensive city, the restaurant is very good and, again, gives good value for the money. The bar is very relaxing. The rooms are basic but comfortable. The air-conditioning system in our room did not seem to work, but the windows do open, and, since the hotel is located in a quiet part of town, noise from the street is non-existent. The big plus is the free airport shuttle which runs from around 5:00 a.m. until midnight on a regular schedule to which it adheres with admirable accuracy.
