I stayed for four days and five nights here. Hotel was a little far from Berlin. It was necessary to take a bus and then the S-bahn which took a total of about 40 mins to Alexander Platz where I got off to see the city. Bus stops running at 7:15 pm, so if you stay out late you must grab a taxi from there coming back. This hotel is a great place for peace and quiet and relaxation. I didn't try the health spa or sauna although they looked pretty good. Breakfast costs 10 EUR--a bit expensive but it was very good. Internet incurs a 3 EUR charge for 20 mins and it didn't work for the full amount of time which was a drag. Staff was helpful if you run into difficulties with anything. I would definitely come back again.

We got a great deal 2 people traveling and staying in Berlin for 10 days for 1600.00. We did not rent a car but found that the bus stop located on street next to hotel can get you anywhere in berlin you want to go as long as you don't mind some good walking. The Mass transportation once figured out was easy to navigate. So yes Hotel is located about 8 miles outside of Berlin but we found the wooded area charming. The Hotel itself was nice, the only problem we really had was the nickle and diming that went on. For instance we needed an adaptor for our adaptors to use the electrical and they wanted a 20 euro deposit. When using the spa that leaves much to be desired. We were charged a 5 euro per person entrance. Once inside each piece of equipment takes tokens that also have to be purchased which can also run you 2-5 euro each piece. There are no attendees in the "spa" area. The "spa/jacuzzi/whirlpool" is also token run and never did what I would consider get hot and towards the end the bubbles were cold. My boyfriend and I were intially the only people in there and we wore bathing suits the spa did fill up with customers none of which had on bathing suits not saying its a bad thing just be prepared. Resturant was amazing but also in add breakfast was included and they did try to charge us 10 euro per person daily which would not have been worth it even though it is very good. The staff was very friendly some spoke english some did not. We were all over Berlin and felt very safe. Have a great time and enjoy!
