The location is IN downtown Dallas, so parking was a nightmare, and it was a fairly long distance from parking to rooms. The hotel charges $ per night for parking, which wasn't disclosed at purchase. The staff was friendly, but horribly incompetent. We spent 20 minutes at the front desk waiting to get a room key and we were the only ones checking in, but the front desk eventually finally gave up on trying to make us a key and said security would meet us at the room and let us in. We waited another 15 minutes in the hallway of the hotel waiting for security. Once we got in the room everything was fine, except the sheets & toilet paper in the room were both of inferior quality, bed was comfortable aside from the sheets and the room had a nice TV. Check-out the next morning was a similarly aggravating experience. It took 10 to 15 minutes, when it should have taken 2. The lady at the front desk couldn't figure out how to check us out, and given that we hadn't been checked in properly, paying for parking was screwed up. Signs in the garage clearly stated that we could pay by credit card only to exit parking, but apparently their card reader was messed up as I tried 3 different cards to no avail, and on top of this inconvenience when my wife called over the intercom whoever answered talked to her like she was stupid, and she was just putting the card in incorrectly (she wasn't). So we had to back down the parking ramp and I had to trek back up to the cashier's cage and pay for parking, where the card worked on the first swipe. All in all an aggravating experience.
